When a down payment is made and the customer wants the payment coming out of a savings account we generate a check by phone or a sight draft (if we catch that its a savings). A savings account will not process a sight draft or check by phone so the payment is returned then it is reversed so the agent is charged back, we then have to back date the draft date to redraft the down payment as savings commissions are paid out again and adjustments have to be made. With all this technology there has to be a way to process a down payment electronically through a savings account.
